During the holidays in Sri Lanka, you cannot miss a visit to the elephant orphanage in Pinnawela. It was originally opened in 1975 as a sanctuary with four orphan calves with elephants. Their descendants still live here, and therefore the place has become a vital breeding ground for wild elephants. The place now has around eighty-four elephants that reside as permanent natives.


This city has a beautiful architecture which has been brilliantly preserved. While visiting the site, you will come across a large number of sophisticated Buddhist relics constructed and configured, statues. Being here is like going back to old age. 3. Yala National Park

The southeast province is home to this exceptionally distinguished place, the second largest park in Sri Lanka. Leopards are the most important elements that play the role of the king in Yala.
